Our MIssions

To empower young people—especially those in crisis or underrepresented communities—with tools to understand who they are, what they stand for, and where they are going.
We use creativity, movement, self-awareness, and community engagement to build pathways toward emotional resilience, opportunity, and purpose.

Our Missions

Puppetry enables individuals to express themselves through art, puppet making, and theatre, transforming drama into positive outcomes, self-control, and critical thinking.

Our Story

One Foot In – One Foot Out was founded with the belief that identity is destiny—and when young people understand their own identity, purpose, and direction, they can rise above negative environments, trauma, or generational cycles.
Our founder, an artist and educator with decades of grassroots community work, developed a unique approach combining:
  • Puppet-making
  • Storytelling
  • Self-defense & martial arts
  • Behavior awareness
  • Community collaboration
  • Reflective learning
This method has reached youth in detention centers, after-school programs, schools, nonprofit organizations, and community centers nationwide.

Our Approach

We use immersive, hands-on techniques to help young people:
✔ Process emotions
✔ Build confidence
✔ Develop communication skills
✔ Understand conflict & relationships
✔ Discover purpose
✔ Explore their creativity
✔ Build healthier identities
Our Identity, Purpose & Direction method is the foundation of all our programs.
